What to Expect From Your Calgary, Airdrie and Area Inspection
Buying a new home in the Calgary, Airdrie and Southern Alberta market may be the biggest investment you'll ever make. Although the process is very exciting, it quickly becomes overwhelming. At Solitaire Home Inspections Ltd. we provide the Calgary market with professional and quality service from the moment you call us. Our licensed and certified home inspectors will walk through your home with you and teach you as much as you want to learn. We strictly follow the Standards of Practice for home inspectors established by InterNACHI® the leading international home inspection association.
We will personally explain the general condition of the home and systems with you and your agent. We will talk through any major issues that need to be addressed sooner rather than later. We will also mention the items that you will want to keep an eye on for deferred maintenance. All of this will be detailed in our easy-to-read report, which will be delivered in HTML and/or PDF format. From that report, you’ll be able to see the items we discussed, with videos and images for reference.
At Solitaire Home Inspections we offer professional Calgary and area residential inspection consulting services that determine the present condition of the home's major systems, based on a visual inspection of accessible features. It focuses on the performance of the home, rather than cosmetic, code, or design issues.
An inspection takes approximately 3 – 4 hours. We encourage you to join us as it’s a great opportunity for you to learn about the workings of the home.
There are 10 key areas that we inspect:
They include Roof, Exterior, Structure, Heating, Cooling, Insulation, Plumbing, Electrical, Interior, and Appliances.
As we move through the home, we will be explaining what we find in the various systems and components. We will also be taking pictures and making notes.
Within 24 hours of the inspection, you will receive a customized, professional report giving detailed, in-depth information about the home. You will receive an electronic file and a hard copy.
The report will include pictures, explanations, and recommendations on hundreds of items in the home.
